Rookie One Court is an annual celebratory event welcoming rookies to their new union. As the first step on the rookie “Player Journey”, strategically curated touchpoints throughout the year that support union messaging, this event boasts current and former players, industry VIPs, and cultural tastemakers as a staple “Welcome to Las Vegas” moment during the first weekend of NBA Summer League. I spearheaded each iteration of this event, and partnered with best-in-class creative and production agencies to bring to life an experience that featured immersive brand activations, custom merch, and the hero moment- the players’ first look at their 2K avatars and ratings.
